The Heartland Chapter is a proud member of the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST.) We are an all volunteer, non-profit organization comprised of licensed and certified radon professionals from the states of Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas. The Heartland Chapter is dedicated to saving lives by protecting the public through the promotion of radon awareness and radon testing and mitigation by licensed and/or certified radon professionals.We strives to serve the educational, technical and professional needs of our Chapter members and are committed to supporting the mission of AARST National.
The Heartland Chapter of AARST member state of Iowa ranks first in the United States for high average radon levels with the state of Nebraska ranking fifth.
With radon ever-prevalent in our communities, Heartland Chapter AARST members understand the regional conditions, seasonal patterns, geographical anomalies and other factors which influence radon measurement and radon mitigation systems. Radon is a silent killer. Working with a dedicated and licensed professional is imperative.
AARST is a nonprofit, professional organization of members who are dedicated to the
highest standard of excellence and ethical performance of radon measurement,
radon mitigation and transfer of radon information for the benefit of members,
consumers and the public at large.
